What we haven't said about IWD (Lent 4)

Earlier this month was International Women's Day, March 8, what would have been my beloved last great grandmother's 102nd birthday. It was the first anniversary of the Women's T20 World Cup final at the MCG and the record crowd for a women's cricket match, an occasion now immortalised in the two-part documentary which is available to due on ABC iView (and I would highly recommend it).



Beyond platitudes


In Australia, a reckoning is taking place in relation to the epidemic of sexual assault and domestic violence. This struggle must influence how we mark International Women's Day.
